How it Works:

Users who are having difficulties getting a specific device to work correctly on their machines would send in their component to have it certified. The most common hardware set-ups are compatible, and through PsyLabs we will continue to work toward the Rebel EFI supporting an ever-broader range of hardware profiles.

Users who have purchased the software would be permitted to participate in the approval program. As part of the support for Rebel EFI, customers will be able to send in hardware that is not yet configured. Through Rebel EFI’s ticket wizard, by emailing labs@psystar.com or by downloading a PDF available here, users will be able to contact one of our Psystar Lab technicians, who will provide you the documentation to have your device sent in and inspected for compatibility.

Guidelines:

• All hardware devices must be manufactured within the last 6 months
• Both processors and chip set must be Intel based.
• No AMD proccesors are compatible with Snow Leopard and therefore not compatible with Rebel EFI.
